Allie is the exact age that Kim is supposed to be. So is the guys playing Hugo and Conrad. She just looks young cuz we're all used to actors and actresses playing parts of people younger than them.

I really really like the idea of having the Kim be younger then Conrad, to give the appearance of a younger girl crushing on someone who's out of her leaugue, rather then them looking the same age: like they could date. Also in the 50's (when Birdie takes place), younger girls could date older guys (Hugo) w/o it being awkward! So YAY, I <3 the idea! :) :) :)
