I got 4 callbacks for Billy Elliot but didn't get on Broadway but that was ok. It was a great learning experience :)

Well, I was going to audition for Annie on broadway, but it was the National Tour, and no one would have been able to go on tour with me if I had gotten it. But a year later I auditioned to be a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz at Madison Square Garden Theater. It was a group audition. There were about 15 groups of 12. We sang and learned a dance. But they wouldn't take you if anyone in your group was bad, so it was a little unfair. Plus, there were all different news channels there, shoving microphones and cameras in our faces. And everyone was screaming and talking for the cameras, while we were auditioning!!! It was in a large open room, with everyone there. But my group was very close; we were one of the top ones considered. Although we weren't one of the two groups chosen, it was an awesome experience.
