13 The Musical Fansite

A new musical about the one thing we never stop doing – growing up.

I have never been to Frenchwoods but its my dream to go. I have a few questions.

Is it good staying all summer or is it better staying there for 1 or 2 sessions?

Its expensive to go there so is there any kind of Discounts you can get?

Does Deleany and Eamon still go there?

Thanks :]

The only discounts you can get are for first and fourth session

This past summer was my first time going to FW and it was well worth it =) I only stayed the first session, and, personally, I think one session is fine. For me, three weeks is plenty, but it really depends on what you think. If you want to be in more than one musical, you should stay two sessions.
You can apply for a scholarship for first or fourth sessions. I'm not positive about this, but I think once you're 15, you can become a CIT and you get a discount for that. Basically, when the counselors have a meeting one night, you go watch a younger bunk until the meeting's over.
Hope that helped a little =)

If you're a CIT do you still get to audition for the musicals and stuff?

Yup. You're still considered a camper, it's just about three times a session you watch the younger kids. It's really not much of a deal, but, from the CITs I talked to at camp, you get a discount.

Thank You Soo much!!! So CITs DO get to be in the musicals and chose the minors and stuff?

This summer was my 5th year at French Woods and it's honestly my favorite place on this planet. If it's your first year, you might want to only go 2 sessions to start off, but it depends on you. I started when I was 12 and I went for one session that year, but then I started going 2 sessions after that and it was always a good amount of time. But after this summer, 6 weeks felt way too short, so I'm going back for 9 weeks next year. You can get scholarships, but I'm not completely sure on how they do that. But if you're 15 or older, you can start being a CIT. There are 1st year CIT's (15), 2nd year CIT's (16), and Super CIT's (17). You get very good discounts for all of those. You can also do shows for being a CIT. But definitely go. French Woods is an amazing place. Delaney and Eamon went this year, but I'm not 100% sure who's coming back next year.
