Okay, who saw Next To Normal and what did you think?

I just saw it and personally rate it as in the top five shows to ever hit Broadway.

The cast is brilliant, the score is incredible... it's just an all-around amazing show. So psyched for the 11 nominations for the Tony's! But Aaron Tveit got snubbed for Best Featured Actor. I mean, he's unbelievable in the show. (what is up with the random kid from Billy Elliot getting nominated? haha, sorry, that was random, but I'm pretty upset about it)

But I'm really sad that Aaron Tveit won't be in it when I see it. He's taking a leave of absence from June till September. He's amaaaazing and I'd really like to see him live. (And I was shocked that he didn't get a nom for best featured actor!)

I listened to the soundtrack literally on repeat for months, and I flew out to NY just to see it. It was outstanding! We had obstructed view seats, which was bad because we couldn't see things all the way to the right side, but we were so close we could see them sweating(: The cast members are so talented and the score is amazing! I wish it would've won more Tony's - it deserved them!; ▶ Reply to This
