and/or have you ever been an understudy, and if so what show and what charecter.

I have never been an understudy
and I have seen:

hairspray---wilbur

Today i saw a mattinee of Guys & Dolls and i got an understudy 4 Lauren Graham. i would've luved to see lauren but the understudy was really good :)

I saw understudies for Elle, Callahan, and Vivienne in Legally Blonde (two performances, one was just the Elle understudy). I had the store manager too in LB. Mary Claire for Lucy in 13. Shrek standby in Shrek, the parents, two guards, and someone else too. Link, Corny Collins, Motermouth Maybelle in Hairspray (two performances), Mimi, Roger, and a few other people in Rent.

Legally Blonde - Elle, Callahan, Vivenne (in 2 performances) and some ensemble members
Shrek - Shrek (standby), his parents, a guard or two and some more ensemble.
13 - Mary Claire for Lucy
Hairspray - Link, Corny Collins, Moutermouth Maybelle (two shows though so it was like two and one). And when i saw it on tour the guy who played link had larengutis (sp?) or something and really could not sing that day.
A Chorus Line - Cassie, and someone else...if there is someone named Bobby or something it was then.
RENT - Mimi, Roger, some more.
Little Mermaid - Prince Eric, King Triton
Mary Poppins - a whole bunch, and some were pretty big too, i just don't remember that show because i did not like it.
Grease - Kenickie (before Ace Young came), Teen Angel
and i think thats it but idk.
