What turning 13 means/meant to me . . .

When i turned 13, i felt more mature. I had my Bat Mitzvah on Groundhog's Day, which was a couple days before my b-day, i felt like i was actually growing up (no matter how much i didn't want to). i feel like im older. I know "what it means to be a friend", and an adult.
